More than 700 persons attended a “Rosenwald Dinner and Rally” at the Cleveland Hotel here at which the Jewish community of this city launched its 1935 drive to raise the quota of the Jewish Welfare Fund in which the United Jewish Appeal of the Joint Distribution Committee and the American Palestine Campaign is the major beneficiary.
