The increased anti-Semitic propaganda in American universities was dealt with at the B’nai Brith convention today, in a report submitted by Dr. A. L. Sachar, national director of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations.
“Nazi propaganda has changed its technique,” Dr. Sachar reported. “American professors are now invited to give courses in German universities, exchange students are welcomed and extended every courtesy.

“During their sojourn in Germany these professors and students are shown only what is favorable to Nazi interests,” Dr. Sachar continued. “All too often they return as ambassadors of good will, immensely more effective than the clumsy propagandists in the past years.”
Dr. Sachar emphasized that every director of a Hillel Foundation has been called upon to make replies to discredit lies, to prepare factual material and to be on guard so that each university sanctuary may be kept unpolluted.
Dr. Sachar also reported on the fine cooperation built up between Jewish and Christian agencies on each campus. The Hillel Foundations serve as a liaison between Christians and Jews, he said.
