Nazi Rioters Raid Stores in Munich

Violent attacks against Jewish stores broke out here last night resulting in heavy damages for many Jewish merchants.

Despite the fact that the stores were insured, the insurance companies have notified the owners today that they will not pay any indemnities. The companies explained their refusal by the fact the atacks were committed by provocateurs. As such, they contend, they come under the classification of “anti-State activities”, which releases the insurance companies in Germany from paying indemnity.

WINDOWS SMASHED

The windows of nearly all the large Jewish stores in Munich were smashed during the rioting. Other windows were defaced with indelible acids and with anti-Jewish slogans.

No arrests were made by the police. This is the second attack on Jewish stores since the first of May. Anti-Jewish attacks are also reported from smaller towns in Bavaria where the Jew-baiting propaganda of Julius Streicher is ‘Protocols’ must simply abandon gaining impetus.

JEWS BEING LISTED

The district leadership of the National Socialist Party in Schwerin announced today that the lists of Jews, people of Jewish origin and businesses partly owned by Jews, which are being circulated in Schwerin have not been complied with sufficient care. Consequently all such lists are being {SPAN}with#{/SPAN}{SPAN}###{/SPAN} destroyed.
