The Executive of the Jewish Community today issued a proclamation asking all shops and business firms to close on the day of Pilsudski’s funeral. Memorial prayers for Pilsudski will be held daily in all synagogues for a full month. A memorial “Pilsudski book” will be issued by the Jewish community. Prayers and psalms were chanted today in all synagogues throughout the country. The Rabbinate of Warsaw and all members of the Jewish Community Executive will march in the funeral procession.
