The court today announced that the verdict in the case of the Swiss Nazis who are charged with spreading the anti-Semitic “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” in Switzerland will be handed down tomorrow afternoon.
The defendants Haller and Ebersold pleaded today before the court in their own behalf, denying participation in the work of distributing the “Protocols,” which have been branded as a forgery by the expert for the court. The defendants also denied that they distributed other anti-Semitic literature.
DISAVOWS HATE OF JEWS
Haller declared in court that he has long disapproved of anti-Semitism as it is propagated by the German Nazis. He was for that reason expelled from the Swiss Nazi Party for two years, he said.
