Junior Hadasah gave a banquet at the Jewish Progressive Club here for members who had succeeded in raising their personal quotas for Hadassah activities in Palestine. Mrs. E. M. Zeidman, president of the Birmingham, Ala., Senior Hadassah, was the principal speaker.
Through the efforts of Hyman S. Jacobs, first vice-president of this district’s B’nai B’rith, new chapters of the international fraternal order have been established at Tampa, Lakeland and Daytona Beach, Fla., and at Macon and Columbus, Ga.
