The organization of a South Brooklyn and Bay Ridge division of the $1,250,000 United Jewish Appeal has been completed it was announced yesterday by Louis J. Moss, president of the United Synagogues of America, who has undertaken leadership of this division. Solomon Horstein is treasurer of the new division.
The Hebrew Hayfever Relief Association is conducting a bazaar and rummage sale at its store at 457 Ninth Avenue. Mrs. A. Rosenberg is chairman. The association reports a need for additional donations of merchandise.
A committee under the chairmanship of Morris D. Kopple, has been formed to celebrate the first anniversary of the appearance of Our Voice, the only magazine in this country which advocates a Jewish State in Palestine on both sides of the Jordan. Elias Ginsburg, chairman of the Zionist Revisionist Organization of the United States and Canada, is its editor. The anniversary will be celebrated at the Little Rumanian Rendezvous, 76 Second Tvenue, Thursday evening.
