The establishment of a Jewish broadcasting station in England was announced today. The station, the first private and Jewish enterprise of its kind in England, was incorporated in London today as the Jewish Radio, Ltd.

In a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Dr. S. Goldberg, a German-Jewish refugee who has been appointed managing director of the enterprise, declared that the station will eschew politics or aggressive policies.

Dr. Goldberg, who was the president of the Jewish Peace Temple in Berlin, emphasized that the work of the station will be devoted to demonstrating the cultural achievements of the Jews in artistic, scientific and spiritual life.

“We want to secure a world-wide understanding of the Jewish problem by means of a defensive activity against the unjust anti-Jewish accusations. Our station will work in the service of the ideals of liberty and peace,” Dr. Goldberg said.
