A non-sectarian campaign for the United Jewish Appeal is about to be inaugurated here with Dr. Irwin P. Levi as the chairman. An unusual feature of the campaign will be the appeals for funds made by nine Christian ministers from their pulpits.

A Jewish hook shelf to be placed in the Boston Public Library in honor of Miss Fanney Goldstein, librarian of the West End branch, is in the process of creation, according to an announcement by Mrs. Augusta Schon Holzman, chairman of the committee.

Benjamin G. Shapiro was reelected president of the Temple Ohabei Sholom Brotherhood, the largest in New England and one of the most active Jewish groups of its kind in Great Boston, at the closing meeting of the season.
