The first self-avowed anti-Semitic newspaper in Ireland appeared in Dublin today. It is named Aontas Gaedheal (Weekly Post).
The paper declares that its policy will be “anti-Semitic, but not attacking Jewish religion.” The first page of the publication is illustrated with the maps of Ireland and Palestine, on which the name of Jerusalem appears in place of Dublin, and Tel Aviv in place of Cork. “Irishmen and not foreigners should control Ireland’s destiny,” is the slogan of the paper.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
