More than five hundred women, many of whom are prominent in social and philanthropic circles, will attend the luncheon and bridge of the sisterhood of Israel Orphan Asylum on Tuesday, June 11, at the Tavern-on-the-Green, Central Park.

Former City Court Justice Gustave Hartman, founder and president of the institution, will welcome the women on behalf of the 200 parentless children in the asylum’s care. The sisterhood supplies the orphans with clothing.
