Storekeepers in Bavaria today were publicly warned by the Bavarian Minister of Interior, Dr. Adolf Wagner, not to provide any funds for anti-Semitic terrorist groups, or they will lay themselves open to punishment.

“There is no special protection for Jews,” the Minister declared, “but the Jewish question must be treated solely in accordance with the plan worked out by the National Socialist Party. This plan does not permit any terrorist activities.”

The Westdeutscher Beobachter complains today that the larger business firms in Western Germany refuse to display signs, “This Is a German Shop,” issued by the labor front to enable people to avoid Jewish stores.

“While accepting these signs, the stores do not display them out of consideration for their Jewish customers.
