How Jews should combat Nazism was the topic of the sermons delivered by hundreds of rabbis throughout Poland during the Shavuoth holiday.

The Agudath Tarabonim, the rabbinical assembly of Poland, issued a call to their members to stir their congregations through the Sahvuoth sermons to renewed efforts in the fight against Nazi Germany. The appeal was made in view of the fact that the early enthusiasm displayed in the anti-Nazi campaign has begun to taper off.
