More than a thousand persons attended a “Springtime Breakfast” yesterday given by Ivriah, the women’s division of the Jewish Education Association, at the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria. The breakfast, arranged by a committee headed by Mrs. Max Lazare, was the last Ivriah affair of the season.
The guest speaker was Rabbi Barnett R. Brickner of Euclid Avenue Temple, Cleveland.
Proceeds of the breakfast will go to the Ivriah scholarship and kindergarten funds, which pay the tuition of underprivileged children in Jewish religious schools.
