More books have been distributed this year than ever before in the history of the Commission on Jewish Education, it was announced here today in connection with preparations for the Commission’s annual meeting in Chicago on June 24. Total sales this year reached 51,987 volumes.

Plans for organizing a National Federation of Youth will be presented to the meeting by Dr. Samuel Schulman of New York. Other problems to be discussed by the Commission include anti-Semitism, Christian-Jewish relations, immigration and intensification of work with adult education groups.

The conference will precede by one day the convention of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the Union of American Hebrew Congregations.
