Turkey to Close Order’s Lodges

The lodges of the B’nai B’rith in Turkey are expected to be closed by the authorities in accordance with a decision adopted today at a Congress of the Turkish People’s Party.

The decision demands the closing of all organizations which have foreign affiliations. The decision will be submitted this week to the Turkish Assembly. It is certain to be passed.

A teacher named Isaaci was arrested here today for clandestinely giving Hebrew lessons to seventeen Jewish boys.
