Four Jews are listed among the fifty persons selected by Gene Howe, editor of the Amarillo Globe-News, as having the most effect on the immediate future of the nation. They are: Supreme Court Justices Louis D. Brandeis and Benjamin N. Cardozo, Secretary of Treasury Henry Morgenthau, Jr. and William S. Paley, president of the Columbia Broadcast System.
