Dr. Cyrus Adler, president of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, announced yesterday that at his suggestion the board of directors of the Seminary had appointed Prof. Louis Finkelstein to the newly created post of assistant to the president. Dr. Finkelstein will continue to occupy his present positions of registrar and Solomon Schechter Professor of Jewish Theology.
