Sale of Jewish Book Sets Reich Record

A total of 18,500 copies of the new edition of the Philo Lexicon of Jewish Knowledge have been sold in Germany in the course of 180 days, it was announced here today by the Philo Publishing House, which is affiliated with the Central Association of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith.

This record sale indicates a growing interest in Jewish knowledge among the Jews of Germany.

A singing festival of all Jewish youth organizations in Berlin, in which 1,500 young people participated, has been arranged here jointly by the youth department of the Berlin Jewish Community and the Reichsvertretung, the supreme representative body of the German Jews.
