Reports that recipients of Torgsin orders in Soviet communities become objects of suspicion were declared “entirely baseless” by I. I. Gordeeff, general representative of Torgsin in the United States and Canada, in a press statement Friday. He cited the constant expansion of the Torgsin service as refutation of the charge.
