The work of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency in effecting a better understanding of the problems of Jewish life in the United States and abroad was praised at the sixty-seventh annual convention of the District Grand Lodge No. 6 of the Order B’nai B’rith which concluded here.
S. B. Komaiko, chairman of the publicity committee of the Lodge, emphasized that it is through the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that the weekly Anglo-Jewish press in America is interesting its readers in getting better acquainted with the Jewish problems.
“Particularly have the Anglo-Jewish weeklies called the attention of their readers to the activities of the Order B’nai B’rith, which has in the last decade served our people to a greater measure than any other organization in Diaspora which combats Judeaphobia, anti-Semitism, and misunderstandings,” Mr. Komaiko stated.
The Jewish Daily Bulletin was especially praised at the convention for its services.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
