London (Jul. 8)
Postmaster General Tryon knows of no Jewish radio station that is to be erected in England, he stated today in the House of Commons. The Postmaster General declared that he has received no request to issue a license for such a radio station.
The erection of a Jewish broadcasting station in England had been reported in a number of English newspapers, provoking great interest. According to the report the station was to be devoted to Jewish programs only, avoiding anything that could be construed as propaganda.
