P. Allen Rickles was elected president of the western district of B’nai B’rith at its seventy-second annual convention here. Other officers are: Jefferson E. Peyser and Jacob J. Lieberman, vice-presidents; Edward Zeisler, secretary and Harry K. Wolff, treasurer.
A resolution was adopted reaffirming the district’s approval of the Zionist program. A resolution backing the boycott of German goods was referred to the General Committee which will consider it at a meeting early next month.
