Appointment of Rabbi Philip Finkelstein to succeed Rabbi Philip W. Jaffa of Cincinnati, who resigned as regional director of the Northwest District of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, was announced today.
Rabbi Jaffa has been called to Congregation Beth Israel, Phoenix, Ariz. Rabbi Finkelstein will take over his new post in September.
