Notwithstanding these “guarantees,” the Nazi youth today pasted anti-Semitic stickers on the windows of numerous Jewish shops. People who entered Jewish ice-cream parlors were branded as traitors by Nazi youths who picketed these establishments.

Leaders of the Hitler youth movement came out today with renewed demands that the government decree a curfew for all Jews in Germany, making it mandatory for Jews to clear the streets at ten o’clock in the evening.

In the city of Stralsund, two Jews were taken into “protective custody” today by the local police because they were married to German girls. The arrest was explained as a measure to protect the Jews from the indignation of the “Aryan” population.
