Contributions of $13,000 toward the real estate group’s quota of $30,000 in the Greater New York United Jewish Appeal campaign have been received, it was announced yesterday.

At a luncheon in the Hotel Commodore, twenty-five leaders in the realty field pledged personal subscriptions totaling $1,375. Borough President Samuel Levy of Manhattan warned that the situation in Germany was critical. He pleaded for financial support of the Appeal campaign to settle German Jews in Palestine.

G. Richard Davis, co-sponsor of the luncheon, reiterated the plea. He compared the conditions of German Jews to those of the Spanish Jews under the Inquisition.
