The Palestine Government today promulgated an order stating that henceforth immigrants held under arrest for illegal entry into the country will not be released on bail.
This new regulation, the order states, pertains to Americans as well as to Europeans entering the country without legal permission or overstaying on tourist visas.
Illegal immigrants, the order warns, will be released only in cases where the Jewish Agency agrees to deduct the number from the next semi-annual immigration schedule granted the Jews.
