The Belgian government announced today that its recent order forcing alien peddlers and market traders to wear special badges was meant to apply only for a period of three months after which it will probably be with-drawn.
The order was promulgated three weeks ago. It provided that the aliens, most of whom are from Poland and other East European countries, must wear red badges. Peddlers and traders who are citizens wear blue badges.
