Martin Wolff, one of the last known juridical experts in Germany and a member of the law faculty of the Berlin University, was dismissed today because he is a Jew.
Prof. Wolff has been at the Berlin University since 1921. He also taught at Marburg and Bonn. He was particularly noted for
his works on German civil law, international property laws and commercial law.
“Non-Aryan” lawyers are to be admitted in insurance cases only in the most exceptional instances, an order published in today’s Reichsanzeiger decrees.
