New laws aiming to further isolate Jews in Germany, in accordance with the legislation enacted Sunday in Nuremberg at the extraordinary session of the German Reichstag, are now under consideration and will be shortly promulgated, it was announced here today.
These new laws, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reliably learns, will provide:
1) A special government commissar is to be appointed to assume control of the management of all buildings and real estate now owned by Jews.
2) All banks in Germany are to report to the government every withdrawal of capital by Jews in excess of 1,500 marks.
3) Jewish doctors who are still permitted to practice, will be forbidden to treat unmarried “Aryan” women.
4) Jewish doctors will be forbidden to treat married “Aryan” women unless the latter submit written confirmation of their husband’s willingness to have them treated by Jews.
5) Jewish lawyers, even those who are exempted from the “Aryan” clause by reason of their war service, will not be permitted to appear in courts. Their cases will be handled by lawyers to be appointed by the court.
