One hundred and forty Jewish communities in Poland will be represented on the central governing board of Polish Jewish Communities, it was announced today by the committee named by a conference held recently for the purpose of creating a central organization.
The board, according to the plan presented by the committee, will have its headquarters in Warsaw and will include a special central bureau whose function it will be to intervene with the Polish authorities whenever Jewish interests are threatened.
