Demands for democratic government in Palestine, prohibition of land sales to Jews, stoppage of Jewish immigration and confiscation of arms allegedly held by Jews are contained in a memorandum submitted by five Arab parties to the government, the text of which was published in the Palestine newspapers today.

A delegation representing five Arab parties called upon Palestine High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope yesterday at his home, where he is confined by illness, and presented him with the memorandum.

The press reported that Sir Arthur replied that he was transmitting the memorandum to the British Colonial Office. The High Commissioner was also quoted as saying that he would carry out this Winter plans for setting up a representative legislative council in Palestine.
