The general secretary of the National Front, the Government party, stated in a press interview today that the Government is launching a campaign against anti-Semitic organizations in Lithuania.
He declared that all Lithuanian citizens must enjoy equal rights. “Anti-Semitism in Lithuania,” he said, “will be completely exterminated.” Recently, the Versliniki organization, at a national conference, launched a campaign to oust Jews from the commercial and industrial life of the nation.
