Rabbi Ignaz Maibaum of Frankfurt-am-Oder was released today from Columbia House, headquarters of the secret state police, after having been held more than a month without charges being preferred against him. He was told the case was closed.

He was arrested on December 13 after having allegedly made remarks detrimental to the Nazi regime in conversation with a small group of Jews, one of whom turned out to be a Nazi agent.
