It was reported today that High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope would leave for London in March.

It was said that Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, who had been reported by the Hebrew newspapers as going to London this weekend, would attempt to make his visit coincide with Sir Arthur’s.

Dr. Weizmann was to leave with Eliezer Kaplan, treasurer of the Jewish Agency and to be followed later by Dr. Arthur Ruppin, head of the agency’s special department for economic planning. The delegation will, according to the Hebrew newspapers, discuss political and economic questions concerning Palestine.

They will consult the British delegation headed by Sir Herbert Samuel, just returned from the United States, on measures for facilitating emigration of German Jews to the Holy Land.

It was understood that Dr. Weizmann will attempt to forestall in London measures contemplated by the Palestine Government for restricting immigration and sale of Arabs’ lands.
