Acting upon orders from the Foreign Office, British consulates throughout Germany have begun a survey of damages suffered by British Jews in the Reich as a result of the anti-Jewish laws and the systematic ousting of Jews from commerce, it was learned today.
Legal advisers of the British Government, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency has been informed, are drafting a case against Germany based on the results of the survey. It is understood that they are demanding reparation for damages to British Jewish interests in the Reich, particularly with regard to those liquidated enterprises capital of which is still in Germany because the Government regulation forbid its withdrawal.
