Many Jews and Socialists were injured seriously enough to require first aid yesterday when anti-Semitic Nationalists, celebrating the Polish National Holiday, attacked persons walking on Ujadowska Street, shouting “Death to Jews and Socialists!”

The Nationalists, upon being beaten off by Polish workers who came to the aid of those attacked, went into other streets, breaking the windows of a few shops and driving Jews from cafes.

A Jew died today of injuries received during anti-Semitic disturbances at Minska Mazowiecki near Warsaw on April 30.
