The Jewish National Council (Vaad Leumi) conferred today with representatives of the Jewish Agency for Palestine executive and other central Jewish bodies.
The meeting, which was held behind closed doors, was understood to be considering fundamental steps to be taken in connection with the present disturbed situation in Palestine.
It was learned that the conference was also taking up the question of a reconciliation between the Zionist Organization and the new Zionist Organization, right-wing opposition body, to from a united front.
