It was authoritatively denied here that Julius Streicher’s anti-Semitic weekly, Der Stuermer, has been banned, as reported yesterday.
It was stated that the Judenkenner, another anti-Semitic weekly, has been confiscated and will not reappear for an indefinite period.
Banning of the newspaper has no connection with the forthcoming Olympic Games in Berlin, it was said. Earlier reports stated both the Stuermer and Judenkenner would suspend publication until after this Summer’s Olympics.
