The Arab Supreme Council this morning issued a proclamation rejecting the proposal of J.H. Thomas, Colonial Secretary, for sending a Royal Commission here to inquire into the reasons for the recent disorders and hear the grievances of Arabs and Jews. The proclamation also announced continuation of the strike against Jewish immigration and sale of land to Jews, now in its fifth week.
