Jaffa Curfew Violators Turned into Street Cleaners

Streets of this predominantly Arab city were being cleaned today by curfew violators, who were given brooms and forced to substitute for striking municipal white wings. The regular cleaners are, together with municipal departments of other Arab cities, striking to enforce Arab demands for stoppage of Jewish immigration and sale of land to Jews.
