A woman was under arrest today charged with having instigated last week’s attacks on Jews in the nearby town of Minsk-Nazowieck, during which more than forty were wounded.
Police announced the arrest of several other leaders of the disorders, stating all of them, including the women, Helen Atomaszewska, are members of the outlawed National Radical Party or Naras as they are popularly known.
Inciting leaflets were distributed among peasants visiting today’s market day at Minsk-Mazowieck.
A detachment of police has been sent to Otwock from Warsaw to prevent disorders on Green Thursday, Catholic holiday, following spread of handbills urging the celebrants to act against the Jews.
