Haifa Stores Ordered to Reopen

The authorities in Haifa began issuing orders today to striking Arab shopkeepers to open their stores under newly-promulgated regulations authorizing District Commissioners to enforce the opening of shops. Six months in prison is the penalty set for failure to comply with the order.
