Geneva Police Guard Against Anti-jewish Outbreaks at Congress Opening

Police today took special precautions to prevent possible anti-Semitic outbreaks when the first World Jewish Congress opens here on August 8.

It was announced that the League of Nations Secretariat will be represented at the Congress sessions by an official observer.

William Rappard, rector of the Geneva University, who is a member of the Mandates Commission and the League’s Assembly will address the opening session.
