Friedrich Eisenegger, chief of the Frontists Swiss Nazi organization, was arrested today on his return from Germany to Berne.
His arrest had been demanded by Swiss newspapers after publication of photostatic copies of a letter he had written to German Propaganda Minister Goebbels demanding 300,000 marks for fighting “the Jewish free-masonic influence” and to Germanize non-German districts of Switzerland.
It was understood that other compromising documents were found on Eisenegger, including a letter from Col. Ulrich Fleischauer, Nazi expert in the recent case involving the discredited “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” in Berne.
