It was announced today that Friedrich Eisenegger, leader of the Swiss Frontist Nazi organization, arrested two days ago on his return here from Germany, will be tried by the Waadt Canton Court on a charge of accepting a commission to establish a political news service which would be unfavorable to Switzerland.

Col. Ulrich Fleischauer, Nazi “expert” in the recent libel-suit involving the discredited “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” is accused of proffering the commission.

Swiss newspapers called for Eisenegger’s arrest following publication of photostatic copies of a letter sent to German Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels in which the former asked for 300,000 marks to fight “the Jewish free-masonic influence” and to Germanize non-German districts.
