Palestine stock issues on the London Stock Exchange enjoyed a minor boom today on reports that peace was imminent in the Holy Land.
Gains of from one to two shillings were registered by such stocks as the Anglo-Palestine Bank and the Palestine Electric Corp., Ltd.
The issues were actively traded in from the opening and maintained their gains to the close of the market.
