Arab circles today asserted the 25-week-ol general strike, which has paralyzed Holy Land economic life and taken a death toll of close to 500 Arabs, Jews and Britons, will be called off sometime between Thursday and Sunday of this week.
They declared the action would be taken following a joint appeal by Arab rulers, draft of which has already been received here and which will be published by the Arab Supreme Committee.
Ten Arabs were arrested for possession of arms and for seeking to obtain military information.
One Arab was killed and another seriously wounded at Herzlia last night when a bomb they were carrying exploded prematurely.
