Attempts to arouse anti-Semitism in London’s East End were condemned today as “un-Christian” in a unanimous resolution adopted by the diocesan conference of the Church of England.

The Bishop of London declared it was “monstrous” for outsiders to come to the East End and stir up trouble. He sharply attacked the Zionists, warning against “blindness” to the grievances of the Palestine Arabs.
