Charges linking Leon Degrelle with the German Nazi Party were reiterated today by Midi-Journal, which insisted the young semi-Fascist leader had received “an envelope” from Reich Propaganda Minister Paul Joseph Goebbels in Berlin on Sept. 27, according to the Havas News Agency.

The newspaper described Degrelle’s visit to the “anti-Comintern,” allegedly on the premises of the Fascist International Union in Berlin, as “highly natural.” Categorically challenging Goebbels, Midi-Journal declared:”Did you or didn’t you meet Degrelle on Sunday Sept. 27? You can’t deny it!”
